Helsingin Seniorisäätiö seeks a night-shift practical nurse for Pakilakoti in Helsinki to join a short-term care group home in a permanent position. Work starts in August or as agreed; orientation precedes night shifts, around early September.
Requirements include a completed practical nurse degree and a valid LOVe drug license. The base salary is 2,594.47 EUR per month, with AVAINTA collective agreement and additional allowances for experience.
A Finnish-speaking role summary: We are seeking a night-shift practical nurse for Pakilakoti in Helsinki to join a short-term care group home in a permanent position. Work begins in August or as agreed. To work as a night nurse you must have experience as a night nurse and a completed practical nurse degree. Valid LOVe drug license is required. Pharmacy-related tasks are a plus. The contract starts with a day-work orientation; night shifts may begin after orientation, around early September. Pakilakoti comprises six group homes with a total of 246 resident places, located in West-Pakila, Helsinki. Night work is in a short-term care unit with 29 resident places.

The minimum Finnish language requirement is that applicants can communicate with residents in daily care situations, understand clear work instructions and spoken reports, operate in a Finnish-speaking work community, be able to make understandable entries in the patient information system, and recognize essential issues related to patient and client safety. The language proficiency does not need to be perfect, but must be sufficient for safe client work and daily interaction.
The base salary for a practical nurse is 2594.47 EUR per month. AVAINTA collective agreement applies, with pay increases for experience and other allowances. Selected candidate must present a police certificate as required by the Act on the Protection of Privacy (registry extract) and tuberculosis screening as required by the Communicable Diseases Act, plus vaccination protection.
