Job summary

Forward Forever Oy is seeking an experienced professional to join as a senior architect/consultant, blending business insight with solution design and hands-on development. You will work with customers to understand challenges, shape the solution, and stay involved to ensure delivery from discovery through deployment.

You will operate across discovery, architecture, and concrete delivery, capable of documenting decisions and building critical components while guiding the broader team.

• Turn requirements into scalable solution architectures, data models, integration designs and practical delivery plans.
• Design and deliver intelligent applications, agents and automation with Power Platform, Azure and related services.
• Create clear architecture diagrams, technical notes and decision records that make assumptions, constraints and trade-offs visible.
• Build and validate key parts of the solution yourself, while giving concrete technical guidance to the wider delivery team.
• Help customers make informed choices about feasibility, security, maintainability, lifecycle and good engineering practices.

We are looking for an experienced professional who wants to turn ambitious ideas into reliable, useful solutions-and help customers make the right choices along the way.

This role brings together business insight, solution architecture and hands-on development. You will help customers discover what is worth building, shape the solution, and stay involved in making it real.

About the role

You will work closely with customers to understand their challenges, processes and constraints-and uncover the real need behind the initial request. You will turn those discussions into viable opportunities, sound architectural choices and an actionable delivery plan. Depending on the assignment, you may take the work from discovery and solution shaping through implementation, deployment and further development.

This is not a role for a purely high-level architect. We are looking for someone who can design the bigger picture, document the decisions that matter, and still build or validate key parts of the solution. If you enjoy moving between customer conversations, architectural design and hands-on delivery, you will feel at home here.

One assignment might involve an AI-powered business application, a customer-facing agent or intelligent automation. Another might focus on modernizing an existing solution, designing integrations or creating a broader application architecture around Power Platform and Azure.

Our home ground is Microsoft Power Platform and the broader Microsoft cloud ecosystem. Depending on the assignment, your toolkit may include Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, API Management, Microsoft Fabric, GitHub and GitHub Copilot.

We see modern AI-assisted development tools as a natural part of good professional practice. We use them actively for analysis, development, documentation, and testing - without handing over responsibility for technical quality or our decisions.

What you could be working on

The exact mix will depend on the customer and assignment, but your work could include:

Your background could look like this

You might currently describe yourself as a solution architect, application architect, technical consultant or senior developer. Perhaps you are a Power Platform professional who has worked with complex integrations, Azure services, and enterprise application architecture. Or you may come from pro-code software development and have moved towards architecture and consulting. There is more than one route into this role.

What matters most is your ability to combine three perspectives:

1. Technology:

You understand how modern applications are designed and built. You can discuss architecture, integrations, APIs, data, identity and security, and you are comfortable going into technical detail.

2. Business:

You can uncover the actual need behind a request, ask the right questions, and help the customer decide what is worth building.

3. Delivery:

You can turn plans, experiments and architectural choices into working, maintainable solutions.

You do not need to arrive knowing every technology. However, you do need enough technical depth to make informed decisions independently, recognize risks and learn unfamiliar technologies without waiting for a predefined path.

Above all, we value curiosity, sound judgement and a continuous learning mindset.

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who enjoys solving meaningful business problems with technology and has delivered customer-facing solutions. You should be comfortable leading discovery and architectural discussions in Finnish and English, explaining technical choices to different audiences and taking ownership when the path is unclear.

Practical experience building business applications or software solutions is important. You may know Power Platform well, or bring architecture and development experience that transfers naturally into it. An understanding of what happens beyond the low-code layer is valuable.

AI should be familiar territory, not just an area of interest. We value practical experience with AI-enabled applications, agents or related development. You should understand the fundamentals of dependable AI-enabled solutions and how to apply them in the Microsoft ecosystem.

Experience with Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI or comparable platforms is an advantage. So is experience with Power Platform governance, application lifecycle management, Azure integration services, technical leadership or mentoring.

You will be part of our experienced Power Platform masterminds. On average, your colleagues have 5-20 years of relevant experience each, so you'll get to be part of an experienced group of experts.

Our salary model offers levels based on skills and taking ownership. Your compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process based on the salary model. We strive to be an organization where everyone is supported to grow and can advance in their career. Expected compensation will be within the range of 5000-6500 €/month.
