Fellowmind Finland is seeking an Information Security Officer to strengthen and develop our information security program. You will lead governance, risk management and the ISMS, collaborating with IT, Legal, HR and delivery teams to translate security requirements into actionable practices.
You will work with stakeholders across Finland and the Fellowmind Group, balancing business needs with regulatory compliance, including GDPR, NIS2 and EU AI guidance.
Information security plays an increasingly important role in how we serve our customers, meet regulatory requirements and support sustainable business growth. As our business continues to evolve, we're looking for an Information Security Officer to help strengthen and further develop information security across Fellowmind Finland.
This is an independent specialist role with broad ownership and visibility across the organisation. You'll combine information security expertise with strong stakeholder collaboration, turning security, regulatory and customer requirements into practical ways of working and helping to strengthen our security culture.
The role is primarily based in Helsinki or Tampere, where many of your closest stakeholders and colleagues are located. While English is our corporate language and you'll collaborate extensively with colleagues across the international organisation, much of your day‑to‑day stakeholder collaboration, communication and awareness work takes place in Finnish. Therefore, professional working proficiency in both Finnish and English is essential for success in this role.
Your mission is to maintain and further develop Fellowmind Finland’s information security management system and ensure that information security becomes an effective, sustainable part of business operations. You will coordinate governance, risk management and improvement activities, support implementation of security controls, and maintain a clear view of risks and priorities.
The role has a strong governance and coordination focus, supported by sufficient technical understanding to work effectively with IT and security specialists. As an independent specialist, you'll work across functions and teams throughout the organisation, helping bring together business, technology and compliance perspectives to move security initiatives forward.
You are not expected to personally configure every security technology or own every operational control. Your impact comes from setting direction, bringing the right people together and ensuring that agreed actions move forward.
You will work closely with local management, Internal IT, Legal, HR, delivery teams and sales. You will also collaborate with information security colleagues across the Fellowmind Group to share knowledge, align ways of working and coordinate common security topics.
Information security at Fellowmind isn't a separate support function operating on the sidelines. It's closely connected to our people, customers and everyday business.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape how information security develops across Fellowmind Finland while working with stakeholders from leadership and business teams to IT, HR and legal experts. You'll be part of our Revenue Operations unit, a team focused on enabling sustainable growth, high‑quality operations and continuous improvement across the business.
This is a role for someone who enjoys combining specialist expertise with collaboration, influencing decisions, and turning complex requirements into practical actions that create real business value.
Perhaps you're already working in information security, governance or compliance and looking for a role where you can have a broader impact across the organisation. Or perhaps you've been building security practices from a different angle and are ready to take the next step.
Either way, we'd love to hear your story.
The application period is open until 8.11.2026, and we're aiming for the selected person to start in early 2027. We'll review applications throughout the process and keep candidates informed of next steps.
During the recruitment process, you'll meet our recruiter, your future manager, future colleagues and key stakeholders from both Finland and our international information security community. Before making a final decision, we'll also contact your references.
