Job summary

Osanyin Bioenergia Oy seeks a hands-on Electrical Project Lead to coordinate power generation systems, grid connections and PPA interfaces. You will guide substation and transformer solutions and ensure regulatory compliance during implementation.

Required experience includes power-plant/substation projects, strong grid-code knowledge, and proven EPC/utility interface management. You will work across Europe with travel to Côte d'Ivoire as needed.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage grid studies and interconnection requirements.
• Define substation, transformer, protection and transmission solutions.
• Integrate CHP/ORC/generator systems with plant electrical balance.
• Support technical PPA terms, metering and settlement requirements.
• Ensure grid-code compliance and support utility negotiations.
• Lead energisation and electrical commissioning planning.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY

• Degree in electrical power engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in power-plant, substation or grid-connection projects.
• Strong grid-code, protection and power-system understanding.
• Experience managing EPC and utility interfaces.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• West African grid experience.
• PPA / interconnection-agreement experience.
• Gas-engine / CHP experience.

KEY SUCCESS MEASURES

• Grid connection delivered on schedule.
• Reliable plant electrical system and protection performance.
• PPA metering and compliance accepted by utility.

RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE

We are looking first and foremost for hands‑on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.

The roles are part of an international renewable‑energy, circular‑economy, biorefining and industrial side‑stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast‑start production projects and later large‑scale industrial investments.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
