Job summary

Aalto University invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position in quantum algorithms and optimization for Life Science applications. You will join the Micro and Quantum Systems (MQS) group in the Department of Electronics and Nanoengineering.

You will develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms, work on quantum walk variational methods, and contribute to research with real-world impact across bioinformatics, genomics, and materials science.

Qualifications

  • Background in quantum computing for research on the topic.

  • Working proficiency in English; Finnish not required.
