Job summary

Konecranes Port Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect to drive modular, scalable and secure architectures for connected, data-driven material handling systems. You will translate business needs into practical designs and work with product, software, cybersecurity and IT teams to ensure alignment with strategy and standards.

You will lead architectural guidance during concept, development and deployment, balancing value, risk and feasibility across cloud, edge and on-premises environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant engineering field.
• Several years of solution/software architecture leadership experience.
• Experience with industrial software, automation, IoT, connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive solution architecture for Port Solutions.
• Translate business, product and customer needs into technical designs and blueprints.
• Ensure architectural quality, security, maintainability and compliance.
• Collaborate across product management, engineering, IT, cybersecurity and external partners.
• Guide integration and decisions on APIs, data flows, and device management.
• Promote standardisation and reuse of architectural patterns.
• Provide architectural guidance throughout concepting, development and deployment.
