Job summary

Nordhealth is seeking a Head of Engineering to own Platform & Data, coaching the team while delivering fast results. The role requires balancing architectural decisions with business impact and remaining hands-on to earn the respect of the team.

Leadership will span engineering depth, delivery ownership, and people management, with a focus on security, compliance, and scalable cloud foundations to support growth.

Qualifications

• Experience growing from software engineer to platform leader through tech lead and engineering management.
• Experience shipping platform work rapidly while balancing priorities and architectural decisions.
• Hands-on leader who earns team respect and translates infrastructure decisions into business impact.
• Background spanning engineering depth, delivery ownership, and people leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical foundations that block growth: security, compliance, quality management, APIs and integrations, and monitoring.
• Consolidate fragmented infrastructure onto a unified cloud foundation and improve developer experience.
• Own the highest-risk areas: production data and migration tooling, cost engineering with full spend visibility, and mobile readiness.
• Plan for a modular platform architecture and a mature data platform, while modernising legacy systems.
