Job summary

V7 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Planner to support a 12-month contract on a 200MW hyperscale data centre project in Lohja, Finland. The role focuses on developing, monitoring and controlling the project programme with close collaboration to site and project teams.

The ideal candidate will have a construction/civil engineering background, strong Primavera P6 experience, and excellent stakeholder management. EU right to work in Finland is essential. Accommodation is likely and ASAP start.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed construction programmes.
• Monitor progress against baselines and identify delays.
• Analyse the critical path and milestone sequences.
• Prepare lookahead schedules and short-term plans.
• Track progress and report programme performance.
• Identify programme risks and support mitigation planning.
• Collaborate with construction managers, engineers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Prepare regular progress and programme reports.
• Support planning meetings and reviews.
• Ensure changes are reflected in the schedule.

Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Planner to join a major 200MW hyperscale data centre project in Lohja, Finland.

This is a great opportunity to join a large-scale mission-critical project and work alongside an experienced project and construction team. The role would suit a Planner with a strong construction or civil engineering background and solid Primavera P6 experience.

The Role

As Planner, you will be responsible for supporting the development, monitoring and control of the project programme, working closely with the site and project teams to ensure key milestones and delivery targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6
• Monitor progress against the baseline programme and identify delays or potential issues
• Analyse the critical path and key project milestones
• Prepare short-term programmes and lookahead schedules
• Track progress across construction activities and report on programme performance
• Identify programme risks and support recovery and mitigation planning
• Work closely with construction managers, engineers, subcontractors and other project stakeholders
• Prepare regular progress and programme reports
• Support planning meetings and programme reviews
• Ensure programme changes and project developments are accurately reflected in the schedule

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Planner within construction or civil engineering
• Strong Primavera P6 experience
• Good understanding of construction sequencing and project programmes
• Experience working on large-scale construction, infrastructure or civil engineering projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• EU passport / right to work in Finland is essential
• Data centre experience is advantageous but not essential
