Qualifications

• Completed master's degree in Philosophy or in another suitable field.
• Sufficient knowledge of classical Arabic to enable work with untranslated primary sources.
• The duties, eligibility requirements and language skills guidelines define the Doctoral Researcher position.

Responsibilities

• Write a doctoral dissertation addressing the reception of Suhrawardī’s philosophy in fourteenth- and/or fifteenth-century CE authors in the Islamic world.
• Contribute to the ISHRAQ project and related research activities.
• Engage with the academic community and accompany postgraduate study rights through formal procedures.
