Job summary

LUT University seeks a doctoral researcher to bridge real-life building energy usage with occupant comfort in high-performance, sustainable buildings. Qualifications

• A relevant master's degree is required.
• Education may relate to HVAC, building automation, or a related field.
• Commitment to completing doctoral studies within the normative timeframe.
• Publications not required but advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Finnish an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research on real-life building usage or on-demand ventilation control.
• Publish peer-reviewed articles and disseminate findings through conferences and seminars.
• Assist in teaching at bachelor and masters levels and support group administration.
• Apply for the right to pursue doctoral studies at LUT Doctoral School within two months.
• Collaborate in an international research environment and communicate results clearly.
