Job summary

Fermion is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to strengthen its engineering and investment project capabilities at the Hanko site. You will support investment projects, prepare technical documentation, and coordinate equipment packages from procurement to handover to production.

The role offers hands-on involvement in GMP-compliant engineering, qualification activities, and collaboration with Project Managers and external partners while contributing to Fermion’s manufacturing facility

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree required (BSc/MSc or equivalent) in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Fluent Finnish and English both written and spoken.
• Experience with industrial equipment and manufacturing projects is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update engineering documentation, including qualification documents, procedures, equipment documentation, factory drawings and P&ID diagrams in accordance with GMP and company requirements
• Assist in the coordination of day-to-day project activities and follow-up actions
• Prepare feasibility studies, preliminary engineering designs, technical calculations and technical documentation
• Coordinate designated equipment packages and technical tasks from procurement through installation, commissioning and handover to production
• Contribute to the continuous development of Fermion's manufacturing facilities and engineering practices
