Job summary

Orion Pharma's Fermion unit in Hanko, Finland is seeking a Project Engineer to support investment projects and technical changes at the Hanko site, a permanent position within our manufacturing environment.

You will assist with equipment procurement, installation, commissioning, and provide technical documentation, engineering calculations and qualification materials. You will work closely with Project Managers and external partners within Orion’s Technical Operations team.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant technical degree in Mechanical, Process, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with industrial equipment, manufacturing environments or engineering projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&ID diagrams and engineering documentation.
• Strong project management, communication and organisational skills.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update engineering and qualification documentation.
• Coordinate day-to-day project activities and follow-up actions.
• Prepare feasibility studies, engineering designs and technical calculations.
• Coordinate equipment packages from procurement through installation and handover to production.
• Contribute to ongoing development of Fermion's manufacturing facilities and engineering practices.
