We are seeking a Personal Assistant to join Onni in Haapajärvi for a permanent position. As a personal assistant, you will help our clients live a life that is true to themselves. Onni’s clients are people who need help with day-to-day tasks due to illness or disability. You will assist with household chores and activities outside the home. Assignments may vary and duties depend on the client’s condition and individual needs.
No formal education or prior experience is required; you simply need the right attitude toward care, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a client-centered manner in different situations.
All new assistants are thoroughly trained in Onni’s own Assistant Academy before starting, and the training continues as needed during employment. You will receive ongoing guidance and support from your team supervisor, and you will never be alone with questions or challenges related to the job.
Work is largely on weekdays during daytime hours. The role suits someone who values independent work and flexible hours. Part‑time or gig‑type work is available.
We tailor the shifts to fit both the clients’ needs and the assistants’ wishes. The first shift with a client can be a training shift if needed, after which both assistant and client can assess, for example, our collaboration and personal chemistry. If later something concerns you or doesn’t go as planned, we discuss it together and find a suitable solution. If you wish, you can work for Onni with more than one client by coordinating schedules.
Applicants must present a criminal record extract as required by the Social and Health Care Supervision Act, effective 1 Jan 2025.
If you have any questions, please contact the team supervisor Paula Lampén at etunimi.sukunimi@onnion.fi or +358 45 78200719.
Join us to build a good everyday life for our clients at their homes – we succeed together!
