Job summary

Validia Oy is hiring Personal Assistants in Vantaa to support clients with daily tasks, at home or in the community, and to help maintain meaningful routines.

No formal training is required, but a warm, flexible approach and a genuine interest in assisting others are valued. Finnish language skills are sufficient, and other languages are an asset.

Personal assistance involves helping with tasks at home or outside the home that the individual cannot perform due to illness or disability. Assistance may include supporting hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling participation in leisure activities. Sometimes, the most important role of the assistant is to be a conversational partner and companion: a relaxed person for the individual. The role of the personal assistant is significant in the client’s daily life, aiming to support and enable living at home as long as possible and to offer opportunities for active and meaningful daily life, respecting the client’s autonomy.
