At Validia, personal assistance clients are individuals covered by disability services. Personal assistance involves helping with tasks at home or outside the home that the individual cannot perform due to illness or disability. Assistance may include supporting hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling participation in leisure activities. Sometimes, the most important role of the assistant is to be a conversational partner and companion: a relaxed person for the individual. The role of the personal assistant is significant in the client’s daily life, aiming to support and enable living at home as long as possible and to offer opportunities for active and meaningful daily life, respecting the client’s autonomy.

We require you to have protection against infectious diseases as per Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and tuberculosis screening as per Section 55. Additionally, we will check your criminal record in accordance with the law on social and health care supervision.
