Job description

Are you a proactive HR professional who enjoys working across different areas of People & Culture? We are looking for a People & Culture Specialist to join our team at MagiCAD Group, an international company in an exciting growth phase. Our mission is to help engineering and manufacturing companies create better buildings.

In this role, you will support People processes throughout the employee lifecycle, maintain accurate employee data in our HR systems, and assist managers and employees with day-to-day HR matters. Your responsibilities will also include recruitment, learning, internal communications, employee surveys and Group-wide events. You will work closely with colleagues across our international organisation and report to the People & Culture Director.

Key tasks and responsibilities
  • Support annual People processes and key activities throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Act as a key administrator for Sympa HRIS, ensuring that employee data is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including job advertisements, interview scheduling and candidate communication, and support hiring managers throughout recruitment and onboarding.
  • Administer our Vuolearning eLearning platform, maintain learning records and support Group-wide learning and capability development activities.
  • Coordinate internal communications and maintain Group-level content in our SharePoint-based intranet.
  • Coordinate our annual Group-wide employee and wellbeing surveys.
  • Act as the company’s main point of contact for the external event organiser for our annual company event.
  • Coordinate employee recognition and gift processes and support general workplace-related administrative activities when needed.
Qualifications

We believe you could be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • Relevant education in HR, business administration or another related field, with at least a few years of experience working in HR.
  • Experience working with HR systems and maintaining employee data. Experience with Sympa HRIS is an advantage.
  • A proactive, hands-on and service-minded approach to work.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills and the confidence to work with employees and managers across the organisation.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
  • We are on an ambitious growth journey and have built strong momentum. We move fast, set high expectations and want to succeed, while maintaining a culture where people and their wellbeing matter. You will be part of a collaborative team environment in a culturally diverse, international software company with a flat organisational structure.
  • We are a workplace where people enjoy working: in 2025, our Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) was an excellent 47, well above the industry benchmark of 15. We are currently conducting the 2026 survey, so we expect the updated data to be available shortly.
  • As our company grows, so do the opportunities for our people to grow, develop and take on new challenges.
  • You can work from any of our offices in Finland or Sweden, or remotely. We believe work should be done where it works best. At the same time, we value meeting face-to-face when it matters. Our teams decide when being together is needed, and everyone is expected to join on those occasions. This means that some travel is a natural part of the role.
