Job summary

HUS diagnostiikkakeskus seeks a licensed speech therapist for a permanent role in Hyvinkää Hospital, focusing on pediatric neurology and child psychiatry. You will assess speech, language, swallowing and participate in rehabilitation planning within a multidisciplinary team.

Experience in a specialized healthcare setting and additional training are advantageous. The role requires readiness to work at other HUS sites as needed, starting September 1, 2026.

Qualifications

• Licensed speech therapist as required for the role.
• Registration in Valvira's Suosikki or Terhikki is required.
• Excellent Finnish and good Swedish language skills or vice versa.
• Vaccination protection per health regulations and a health certificate for TB.
• Criminal record extract required for work with children.

Responsibilities

• Assess interaction, speech, language, communication, swallowing and eating in pediatric patients.
• Participate in creating and adjusting rehabilitation plans.
• Collaborate with wellbeing services counties and contribute to development and teaching tasks.
