We are seeking a speech therapist for a permanent position at Hyvinkää Hospital to work in the fields of pediatric neurology and child psychiatry.
The speech therapist acts as an expert in their field within a multidisciplinary specialized healthcare team. Their primary duties include assessing the interaction, speech, language, communication, swallowing, and eating of patients receiving treatment and follow-up for pediatric diseases, as well as participating in the creation of rehabilitation plans. In addition to patient work, the speech therapist collaborates with wellbeing services counties and participates in development and teaching tasks common to all speech therapists. Previous experience working in a multidisciplinary specialized healthcare team and relevant additional training are considered an advantage.
At the start of the employment, the primary place of work is Hyvinkää Hospital, but the position requires readiness to work at other HUS sites as well.
The position is to be filled starting September 1, 2026.
