Job summary

ABB Oy, Marine & Ports division in Raisio Finland is seeking a Service Engineer, Site Supervisor to supervise maintenance activities for ABB Azipod propulsion units and serve as the technical point of contact with customers. The role involves about 100-150 days of mostly international travel, with occasional visits to the Raisio office.

You will lead mechanical service tasks, ensure safety and ABB process compliance, and collaborate with customers and ABB teams to deliver high-quality service

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Strong communication and teamwork, with customers and ABB teams.
• Proficiency in English; Finnish is a plus.
• Familiar with MS Office software.
• Experience in shipbuilding and knowledge of ABB products is advantageous.
• Degree in mechanical engineering or technical background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise mechanical service tasks for ABB Azipod propulsion units.
• Supervise maintenance, installation, testing and commissioning with customers.
• Advise customers on service solutions following standards and safety guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to develop new service applications, equipment and methods.
