Job summary

ABB Energy Industries in Vaasa seeks two Project Engineers to lead automation engineering activities for gas and diesel engine power plants. You will coordinate projects with the project team, suppliers and customers, ensuring alignment with contracts, budgets and safety standards.

The role requires a B.Sc. in electrical or automation engineering, PLC experience (Siemens/Schneider) and fluent English with Swedish or Finnish skills. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in electrical or automation engineering is required.
• Experience with industrial automation systems is preferred.
• PLC programming experience with Siemens and/or Schneider PLCs is beneficial.
• Knowledge of industrial automation networks is a plus.
• Fluent English plus Swedish or Finnish is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement automation solutions for Gas and Diesel Engine Power Plants.
• Act as technical reference for project team, suppliers and customers.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, team members, customers and stakeholders to meet project targets.
• Contribute to cost-effective project execution in line with contracts, budget, quality and safety requirements.
