Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, diagnose faults, repair, and commission power generation equipment across Finland and the Nordic region. The role is primarily field-based with extensive travel and on-site customer interactions.

Ideal candidates have a technical background in mechanical/electrical disciplines, enjoy independent work, and are fluent in English; Finnish is a significant advantage.

Qualifications

• Essential technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, automation, or a related discipline.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Strong commitment to safety and safe working practices.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across Finland.
• Good English communication skills; Finnish and Swedish are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair generators and power distribution equipment at customer sites.
• Assemble, commission, test, and decommission equipment to ensure reliability.
• Represent Aggreko on-site and provide expert technical support and customer service.
• Build customer relationships and advise on improving equipment performance.
• Work safely and follow health, safety and environmental standards.
• Complete service reports and maintain records of maintenance activities.
• Support preventative maintenance and minimise downtime through fault finding.
