Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Mechanical Package Manager to lead end-to-end mechanical package work on mission-critical data centre projects in Finland. The role is based on-site in Finland and requires ownership of design coordination, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning, while coordinating subcontractors and site teams to meet safety, quality and budget targets.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proven project management experience on large-scale mechanical systems.
• Strong design-and-build, industrial relations, and health and safety knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the complete mechanical package from design coordination through installation, testing and commissioning.
• Lead QHSE and manage subcontractors on site.
• Control schedules, resources, and all project costs.
• Maintain snagging, documentation, and progress reporting.
• Support handover, close-out, and safety files.
• Schedule material deliveries and coordinate change management costs.
• Lead weekly commercial meetings and issue cost reports.
• Collaborate with other package managers to standardize procedures.
