Job summary

Qualifications

• General understanding of assembly work.
• Applicants need experience using varied tools and equipment, or readiness to learn their use.
• The role requires an independent, proactive and hands-on way of working.
• Good cooperation and teamwork skills for multi-function work.
• Basic English is required; documentation is in English.
• Preferred: Vacuum technology experience.
• Preferred: Cleanroom familiarity.
• Preferred: Ability to read electrical drawings and PI diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical components using 3D models supplied for the equipment.
• Fit electrical and pneumatic components with reference to PI diagrams and electrical drawings.
• Carry out installation QA activities including leak testing.
• Support test engineers during system testing and fault diagnosis.
• Apply safety and quality instructions governing assembly work.
• Maintain documentation for assembly and installation activities.
• Keep the workstation clean and orderly for ongoing work.
• Contribute to continuous improvement using Lean and 5S principles.
• Collaborate with different teams and functions across the organisation during work.
