Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Finance Controller – Nordics to lead financial management, reporting, and compliance across Sweden, Finland, and Norway. This hands-on role builds financial infrastructure for new entities and ensures robust controls in established operations.

The ideal candidate will oversee monthly closes, drive accurate reporting, manage internal controls, and partner with business leaders across the Nordic region to optimize working capital and commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA/ACCA/ACA) or Nordic equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, with 3+ years in a controller or senior finance leadership role
• Experience with US GAAP reporting and SOX compliance in a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of Nordic statutory requirements (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP (EBS or Fusion Cloud)
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Swedish, Finnish, or Norwegian is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for Nordic entities (Sweden, Finland, Norway)
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting under US GAAP and IFRS where applicable
• Coordinate with the EMEA Group Controller and Corporate Consolidations on reporting
• Oversee internal controls and SOX compliance across Nordic jurisdictions
• Support Oracle ERP implementation for Vertiv Finland and new entities
• Provide financial insights to business leaders and monitor working capital performance
