Job summary

Lowell is seeking a BI Architect to lead the Nordic BI landscape. You will design and govern scalable data platforms, collaborating with BI Developers, Data Engineers, Analysts and business stakeholders across Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway.

You will guide data ingestion, modelling, reporting layers and ensure security, compliance and maintainability. The role requires strong Azure/Data Platform expertise and a strategic mindset for enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in BI, Data Management or Platform Architecture.
Strong understanding of BI architecture, data warehousing and modern analytics platforms.
Hands-on with relevant technologies and complex database structures.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities

Own and guide BI platform design, architecture standards and solution patterns.
Ensure BI solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, cost-efficient and aligned with Lowell’s business goals.
Define and maintain architecture documentation and standards.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring and architectural guidance to BI teams.
Drive data governance, access management, data quality, lineage and ownership across BI platforms.
Ensure GDPR, security and compliance requirements are embedded in BI platforms.
Lead architecture decisions related to data protection, monitoring and platform security.
