Job summary

Attendo Järvenhelmi is seeking a hardworking casual cook/kitchen assistant for morning shifts in Pyhäjärvi. The kitchen serves around 100 residents daily on an on-call contract with onboarding provided.

Responsibilities include meal prep, packing, potential local deliveries, and maintaining kitchen hygiene. Requirements include sector experience or relevant education, Hygiene passport, B-class driving license, vaccination protection, and Finnish at least B2.

Qualifications

• Experience in the sector or relevant education; large-scale catering preferred.
• Hygiene passport or equivalent food safety certification.
• B-class driving license (manual car).
• Vaccination protection as per infectious disease law for employment duration.
• Fluent Finnish language skills at least B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to the menu and recipes.
• Pack ready meals for distribution.
• Possibly transport meals with the kitchen's car to other Attendo homes.
• Dishwashing and waste management.
• Unloading goods and stock control.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and record self-monitoring notes.
• Cooperate with care staff.
