Job summary

Responsibilities

• Реализовывать инициативы nativе iOS и Android в рамках общих потребительских приложений и балансировать скорость, качество и долгосрочную поддержку.

Wolt creates technology for local commerce and delivery. It began with restaurant food delivery and has expanded to delivering a wide range of products, operating in over 500 cities across 30 countries. Wolt joined DoorDash in 2022.

Задачи

• Lead complex cross-team initiatives from design and implementation through launch and operational ownership, partnering with product, design, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable impact
• Drive and implement native iOS and Android initiatives within shared consumer-facing apps, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
• Evolve the server-driven UI (SDUI) approach by designing configurable, component-based views
• Anticipate product and architectural needs and establish engineering standards for architecture, testing, release processes, observability, and incident management
• Address scalability, performance, and reliability proactively
• Champion AI-enabled tools and practices that help mobile engineers work faster without compromising quality
• Communicate technical decisions, estimates, timelines, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Mentor engineers, including those transitioning into mobile, and uphold engineering culture and best practices across teams

Требования

• Deep expertise in mobile development, particularly the iOS ecosystem, including modern best practices, performance optimization, observability, modularity, SDK design, server-driven UI, CI/CD, and App Store processes
• Experience operating at Staff Engineer level or equivalent scope and leading cross-team or cross-organization initiatives
• Track record of working on large-scale native B2C applications, ideally with app ownership split across teams by vertical or feature area
• Pragmatic, impact-oriented mindset, bias for action, and ability to find simple, effective solutions
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity and execution in a fast-changing business environment
• Ability to influence and align stakeholders through clear communication and technical leadership
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning
• Practical experience using AI in engineering, with good judgment in validating output and assessing quality
