Job summary

Hoxhunt is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI development team in Helsinki. You will design and ship AI features, build scalable APIs, and ensure reliability and observability of AI systems.

You’ll collaborate with product teams and PMs to scope and execute complex projects, taking ownership from concept to delivery. We value a builder mindset and hands-on experience with LLMs, production-grade code, and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI systems, and ML feature development.
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure; TypeScript knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI features and ML models serving millions of end users.
• Build and maintain scalable APIs that integrate models into our products.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and observability of our AI systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams and PMs on complex projects.
• Take end-to-end ownership of initiatives from idea to execution.
