Job summary

ICEYE in Espoo, Finland, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join the Missions team. You will deploy ICEYE software, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve processes to keep mission systems running smoothly for Mission customers.

You will work in a hybrid model, advancing on-premise and cloud deployments, maintain high-availability services, and participate in an onboarding-based on-call rotation after 6 months. Strong Kubernetes and IaC experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional DevOps experience with deployment, configuration, and operations of software services.
• Strong English communication skills in speaking and writing.
• Experience with high-availability services and Kubernetes.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation after onboarding (6 months).

Responsibilities

• Delivering ground segments (the brain of satellite operations) to Mission business customers.
• Providing technical support for satellite and ground segment systems for Mission customers.
• Performing maintenance and upgrades for customer on-premise systems.
• Continuously improving processes and documentation.
• Ensuring ground segment systems reliably deliver satellite data and imagery.
• Proactively supporting and upgrading customer environments.
