Job summary

AirLife, a leading consumable breathing products company, is seeking a Product Engineer in Helsinki to advance usability engineering, drawings and medical device documentation.

You will evaluate how updates, regulatory requirements and other changes affect usability and patient safety, organize usability testing, and contribute CAD work with Creo and SolidWorks. The role offers a hybrid environment and collaboration with teams in the US.

Qualifications

• A relevant educational background in mechanical engineering
• Some relevant professional engineering experience in mechanical/product engineering
• Understanding of mechanical design and CAD tools, preferably Creo and SolidWorks
• Interest in MedTech sector
• Interest in usability engineering, technical documentation, and regulated environments
• Comfort with standards and documentation
• Full working proficiency in English

Responsibilities

• Product Engineer will handle usability engineering, technical drawings and documentation for medical devices
• Evaluate how product updates and regulatory requirements affect usability and patient safety
• Organize product usability testing with internal and external partners when appropriate
• Update technical drawings with CAD tools and contribute to other product documentation
• Possibly contribute to other project entities and take ownership of smaller projects
• Work independently while collaborating with the team and colleagues in the US
