Job summary

Fastems seeks an Engineer, Mechanics to join our Service Products Delivery team in Tampere. You will contribute to our Service deliveries by designing components and modifications to meet customer needs and Fastems’ long‑term experience.

You will create models, drawings and schematics, support global service functions and participate in Service Product development. We offer a collaborative, innovative environment with flexible hours and partial remote work.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in mechanical engineering.
• A few years of experience in design work.
• Up to date knowledge of manufacturing technologies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with SolidWorks.
• Basics of strength calculations with SolidWorks Simulation.
• Fluent in English and Finnish.

Responsibilities

• Design Fastems products and system modifications to meet specifications.
• Create models, manufacturing drawings and schematics.
• Support global Service functions related to mechanical solutions.
• Participate in Service Product development and deliveries.
