Job summary

Carrus Delta Oy is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join the Liedon plant, designing bus shells and equipment, and adapting designs for customers in an international setting. You will work on development and customer projects, coordinate with production teams, and contribute to new technical solutions while learning and growing in a dynamic environment.

The role is permanent and located at the Liedon facility.

Background

Carrus Delta Oy is a Finnish bus body manufacturer with a long history, collaborating closely with Volvo Bussar AB. At Liedon factory, about 200 professionals work to design future buses. The Mechanical Designer will join to design bus bodies and equipment, handling both new developments and customer adaptations in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing shell structures and equipment solutions
• Selecting components and fittings
• Documenting and maintaining structures
• 3D design for development projects and customer projects
• Coordinating with production and other experts
• Developing new technical solutions to meet customer needs
