Job summary

Wärtsilä Corporation seeks a Process Engineer to design fuel systems for the maritime sector, focusing on LNG, Methanol and Ammonia. You will participate from concept through commissioning and work with an international team.

Responsibilities include designing P&ID, selecting pumps, heat exchangers and other equipment, plus performing thermodynamic calculations and simulations. Excellent collaboration with customers and suppliers is required.

Qualifications

• MSc in Chemical and Process Engineering or Energy Technology.
• Experience with AutoCAD and process simulation software is preferred.
• Fluency in English and good communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of marine/shipbuilding industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design piping & instrument diagrams (P&ID) and select process equipment.
• Develop thermodynamic and pressure drop calculations/simulations.
• Create operating procedures and technical documents for fuel supply systems.
