Job summary

Comatec Group is seeking an experienced electrical designer to contribute to marine propulsion and control systems. You will work with a global team, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards across diverse projects.

The role emphasizes creating electrical schematics in EPLAN, preparing cabling diagrams, and maintaining technical documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams for system integration and ongoing process improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Solid experience in electrical engineering, having designed projects using the EPLAN design software.
• Knowledge of IEC/IEEE standards and safety regulations.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a global, multicultural project environment as part of a team.
• Working communication skills in English (written and spoken). Finnish is considered as an asset.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain electrical schematics using EPLAN.
• Prepare cabling diagrams.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation in compliance with applicable standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams for system integration and troubleshooting.
• Actively contribute to the development and improvement of internal electrical engineering processes, with an open mindset toward continuous improvement and strong teamwork within the project.
