Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical systems and schematics for production machinery in the automotive manufacturing sector, delivering detailed drawings and documentation using EPLAN and AutoCAD. You will select components, design cabinets and control panels, and support projects from concept through commissioning while collaborating with mechanical engineers and customers.

Fluent English and Finnish are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Electrical Design or similar role.
Proven experience using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
Background in electrical schematics, cabinet design, and technical documentation.
Experience with automation systems, PLCs, drives, and industrial control systems is advantageous.
Fluent English and Finnish language skills are required.

Responsibilities

Design electrical systems and schematics for production machinery and industrial equipment.
Produce detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and documentation using EPLAN and AutoCAD.
Select and dimension electrical and automation components per project requirements.
Design electrical cabinets, control panels, and related electrical infrastructure.
Support projects from concept through manufacturing, testing, commissioning, and handover.
