Job summary

Bluefors Oy is seeking a Manufacturing Data Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in a role that bridges engineering, production, and product data management. You will ensure BOMs, PLM/ERP data, and ECO/ECM changes are accurate and released in a controlled manner.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree and several years' experience with ERP/PLM systems, BOM management, and data lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical degree.
• A few years of relevant work experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience with ERP and PLM/PDM systems (Lean ERP is an advantage).
• Experience maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Understanding ECO/ECM and product lifecycle management.
• Strong English communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Maintain product data in ERP and PLM systems.
• Support and coordinate ECO/ECM changes.
• Manage release and scheduling of revisions and changes.
• Ensure data consistency between ERP and PLM systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and Change Management teams.
• Support product data quality and continuous process improvement.
• Assist the Manufacturing Engineering team with product data management activities.

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Data Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing product data while supporting change management processes across the organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating, maintaining, and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs)


• Maintaining product data in ERP and PLM systems


• Supporting and coordinating engineering change processes (ECO/ECM)


• Managing the release and scheduling of revisions and engineering changes


• Ensuring data consistency between ERP and PLM systems


• Collaborating closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Change Management teams


• Supporting product data quality and continuous process improvement

We Expect You To Have
