Job summary

VALOI in Tampere is seeking a production and warehouse specialist to split time between assembling our hardware products, managing workshop inventory, and handling shipping fulfilment. The role is on-site at our Tampere office and offers a starting salary of 2,200 €/month with flexible hours.

You will ensure product quality, coordinate with production and logistics, and work within an international team of 15 nationalities, following health and safety standards.

As a Nordic leader in circular economy practices within photography, Kamerastore specializes in professionally tested, second-hand camera equipment – making high-quality gear more sustainable and accessible for photographers everywhere.

Beyond re-commerce, the business is continuing to innovate through its successful consumer product line, VALOI. Focused on camera-based film scanning, VALOI designs high-quality equipment and accessories backed by internal assembly, quality control, and a strong subcontractor network. This allows photographers, labs, and archivists worldwide to digitize film quickly, accurately, and easily.

We are now looking for a production and warehouse wizard for a permanent employment at VALOI starting latest on 1.12.2026. To be considered for this role, you must currently have and maintain the legal right to work in the European Union, as we are not able to offer visa sponsorship at the moment.

Job summary

In this role, you will be splitting your time between assembling our products, handling workshop inventory, and handling shipping fulfilment. Your work will directly ensure that our customers and business partners receive products of great quality and on time. The job is fully on-site – based at our office in Tampere.

Your main responsibilities are

Logistics & Warehouse Operations

• Pick, pack, and process daily customer orders and B2B wholesale shipments accurately and efficiently.
• Fulfil custom or special shipment requests according to client specifications.
• Keep the warehouse organized, track logistics consumables, and reorder packaging supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with customer service and internal team members to quickly address and resolve shipping or order issues.
• Operate shipping software platforms (e.g., Shopify, DHL, FedEx, post carriers) to generate labels and tracking information.

Production & Assembly

• Assemble VALOI hardware products and subassemblies following precise assembly procedures.
• Perform consistent, thorough quality control checks at every stage of the assembly process.
• Communicate regularly with the production manager regarding stock levels, production milestones, or assembly bottlenecks.
• Maintain a steady, efficient work rhythm while performing routine manufacturing tasks over extended periods.

Workplace Safety & Environment

• Keep assembly workstations and warehouse storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow company health, safety, and operational standards at all times.
