We are now looking for a Production Coordinator to join Konecranes’ global delivery organization and support customer delivery projects worldwide.

Would you be our new Production Coordinator?

As a Production Coordinator, you will play an important role in ensuring that materials, information and deliveries move smoothly throughout customer delivery projects. Working as part of an international team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues in engineering, procurement, logistics, quality and project management to keep projects progressing according to plan. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain a broad understanding of how global delivery projects are executed from planning and procurement to final delivery.

Your daily work includes creating purchase requisitions in SAP, maintaining bill of materials (BOM) structures, coordinating shipments and supporting material availability throughout project deliveries. As projects evolve, new requirements and unexpected situations naturally arise. Your role is to keep things moving forward by coordinating activities, communicating with stakeholders and proactively resolving potential issues.

You will also work with technical documentation such as drawings and parts lists. While you do not need to be an experienced engineer, you should feel comfortable interpreting technical information and understanding how different components fit together within a project.

This is a full-time and permanent position. You will be employed by Biisoni and work on assignment at Konecranes. The role follows a flexible hybrid working model, combining remote work with regular weekly office days in Hyvinkää. Occasional international travel may be part of the role.

What are we looking for?

Whether you are a recent graduate or have already gained a few years of experience, this role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in project deliveries, logistics and supply chain operations within a global industrial company.

You may have gained experience through studies, internships or previous work in areas such as supply chain management, project coordination, logistics, production planning or procurement. A background in industrial engineering and management, mechanical engineering, logistics or another relevant field is beneficial, but we are primarily looking for motivation, learning agility and a proactive mindset.

To succeed in this role, you should have strong general IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools. Strong communication skills in English are required, as English is the working language in this role. Additional language skills are considered an advantage.

As a person, you are organized, curious and solution-oriented. You enjoy coordinating multiple tasks, taking ownership of your work and finding practical solutions when plans change. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and collaborating with stakeholders from different backgrounds and cultures.
