Job description

The job is to coordinate and supervise logistics training for a vocational qualification at Kuopio. The instructor will work largely on-site across different workplaces with students, supporting those who need special assistance in achieving personal goals. The role includes individual guidance, planning and documenting student personal study plans, and evaluating set objectives. Collaboration with a professional special education teacher, cooperation with industry representatives, and contributing to career pathways and employability for students are expected. A forklift competency is required, and the ability to guide students in forklift operation in real-world environments is necessary.

The position is a fixed-term full-time contract (38 h 15 min/week) until 31 October, with possible extension. Salary follows the Private Education Sector collective agreement and is approximately 2350–2720 EUR per month depending on experience. Applicants should be team players with strong cooperation skills and a student-centered approach. Fluency in Finnish and basic digital skills are assumed. Driving license B is required as we travel with students using institute vehicles.
