Job summary

Valo is seeking a dedicated Lifecycle Controller to join our global Energy Storage Business. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, driving profitability and risk management across Lifecycle revenue streams, including LTSA, SaaS, Field Service and Parts.

You will collaborate with business and finance stakeholders to improve controlling processes and tools across our global operations. You will lead monthly closings, provide insightful analysis, ensure data integrity in SAP, and support

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling.
• Experience in Field Service, Long Term Service Agreements and Parts environments.
• Strong understanding of agreements and service business controlling.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Continuous improvement mindset with interest in improving processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities for Lifecycle operations.
• Monitor profitability, margins, cost performance and KPIs across Lifecycle revenue streams.
• Provide financial reporting, business analysis and ad hoc insights.
• Monitor order book performance.
• Perform balance sheet follow-up, reconciliations and other controlling activities.
• Support cost monitoring, WIP follow-up, timesheet validation, project and cost allocation.
• Ensure agreement estimates are regularly reviewed and maintained.
• Support rate calculations for Field Services and Global Technical Support Centre.
• Perform internal control activities and support audit processes.
• Maintain high-quality data in SAP and related systems.
• Develop, implement and monitor business control KPIs and reports.
• Provide proactive stakeholder support by identifying risks and actions.
• Support Estimo mobilisation/demobilisation of agreements.
• Act as a key user for SAP and Lifecycle controlling tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Challenge existing ways of working and promote best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement of controlling processes and automation.
• Support development projects, testing, and deployment of new tools.
• Deliver training and knowledge sharing across the global organisation.

We are seeking a Lifecycle Controller to join our global Energy Storage Business organization in the rapidly growing renewable energy market.
As a Lifecycle Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial performance reporting, operational controlling, and compliance across Lifecycle revenue streams, including Long Term Service Agreements, SaaS, Field Service, Technical Support, and Parts. Working closely with business and finance stakeholders, you will support financial integrity, profitability improvement, risk management, and continuous development of controlling processes and tools across global Lifecycle operations.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in controlling.
• Experience in Field Service, Long Term Service Agreements and Parts environments, with an understanding of key business drivers.
• Strong understanding of agreements and service business controlling.
• Advanced financial systems and reporting tool knowledge, including SAP, SWF, Excel, Power BI, QlikView and Estimo.
