Job summary

Oriola is seeking an experienced Group Controller to strengthen our Group Financial Controlling team in Espoo. This role focuses on group reporting, consolidation, IFRS compliance, and developing finance processes across the Group.

You will own monthly closing, group consolidation, and segment reporting; help prepare quarterly and annual reports; maintain accounting manuals; and support audits. Fluency in Finnish and English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 10 years' experience in finance, including group accounting and consolidation.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with consolidation systems (HFM) and SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
• Advanced Excel skills; fluent in Finnish and English.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of monthly closing, group consolidation, and segment reporting with Group Accounting.
• Contribute to quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Prepare tax-related reconciliations and documentation (Country-by-Country, Transfer Pricing, Pillar Two).
• Maintain and improve the Group's reporting principles and accounting manual.
• Drive improvements in group accounting, consolidation, and reporting processes.
• Support internal and external audits and coordinate with key stakeholders.

About the position

We are looking for an experienced Group Controller to strengthen our Group Financial Controlling team. This is a key role in our finance organization, offering the opportunity to work with group reporting, consolidation, IFRS compliance, and the development of finance processes across the Group. You will collaborate closely with both Group Accounting and other finance stakeholders, helping to ensure high-quality reporting and supporting the continuous evolution of our finance function.

As a Group Controller, you will:

• Take ownership of monthly closing, group consolidation, and segment reporting together with the Group Accounting team
• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reporting
• Prepare tax-related reconciliations and documentation, including Country-by-Country Reporting, Transfer Pricing documentation, and Pillar Two reporting requirements
• Maintain and further develop the Group's reporting principles and accounting manual
• Drive improvements in group accounting, consolidation, and reporting processes
• Support internal and external audit processes and collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization

Personal and experience Requirements

To succeed in this role, you have:

• At least 10 years of experience in finance, including group accounting and consolidation
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience working with consolidation systems, such as HFM
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or simialr is considered an advantage
• Fluent communication skills in both Finnish and English, written and spoken
