Job summary

Stora Enso Group in Helsinki seeks an Operational Excellence Implementation Lead to turn our OE system into practical daily routines on our mills.

You will coach leaders and operators, implement Shop Floor Management and daily routines, build capability through DOJO sessions, and use data, direct observation, and structured methods such as A3, PDCA, Kaizen, and 8D to solve problems, while driving digital adoption.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Operational Excellence and continuous improvement tools in industrial settings.
• Strong Lean expertise including daily management, visual management, and problem-solving.
• Proven ability to implement new routines, coach teams, and build ownership near operations.
• Comfort with data analytics and adoption of digital tools and AI-enabled solutions.
• University degree in Engineering or another technical field. Fluent in English and Finnish.

Responsibilities

• Implement Shop Floor Management, daily management, KPI routines and escalation at roll-out sites.
• Coach mill leaders, supervisors, operators and change agents through practice and feedback.
• Build capability through learning sessions and DOJO activities to spread practical Lean.
• Help teams use data and structured methods (A3, PDCA, Kaizen, 8D) to solve problems.
• Support disciplined performance management by linking KPIs, actions and follow-up.
