Job summary

Stora Enso Group is seeking a Head of Operational Excellence to drive practical improvements across the Cartonboard Business Area. You will build and own the OE system, lead cross-site maturity, and coach leaders to embed routines, accountability and data-driven performance management.

You will shape roadmaps, develop internal capability, and share best practices to deliver measurable business impact across mills in Finland and Sweden. Frequent travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Operational Excellence tools in industrial settings.
• Experience in continuous improvement or manufacturing transformation.
• Proficient in Lean, Shop Floor Management, visual performance management.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and build trust across sites and functions.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the Business Area Operational Excellence system across Cartonboard.
• Lead the cross-site maturity journey, set roadmaps and support mills in adapting standards.
• Coach mill and Business Area leaders to embed routines, accountability and fact-based performance management.
• Share best practices across the network and ensure improvement activities deliver measurable business impact.
