Job summary

NestAI is building sovereign AI models for defence to adapt to battlefield conditions. NestOS powers this mission with a modular platform, and NestAI seeks a Model Development Lead to set technical direction and grow the team.

You will shape the approach to data, training, and deployment across stages, balancing performance, safety, and operational considerations in a frontier AI environment.

Qualifications

• Experience training large-scale multimodal AI models.
• Deep technical competence in pre-training, fine-tuning, evaluation, multimodal learning, long-context reasoning, model compression.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and roadmap for the foundation model.
• Map NestAI strategy to the model roadmap and elevate the company roadmap.
• Operate with decision authority, iterate quickly and move beyond advisory stance.
• Represent the project's technical thinking to attract top talent.
• Report progress with clear scoping, phased plans and risk assessment.
• Grow and staff the team to enable company success.
