Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Staff/Lead Product Designer to build a comprehensive design system from the ground up. You’ll create a reusable Figma library, a robust design playbook, and scalable token architecture, working closely with frontend engineers to ensure code-ready components.

You'll spend time defining the token strategy, documenting components, and enabling teams to adopt the system by default. This hands-on, ownership-driven role requires collaboration across product design and engineering,

Qualifications

• Experience taking a design system from inception to adoption in an organisation lacking one.
• Ability to read React and CSS and discuss component APIs and buildability.
• Strong craft in layout, typography, colour and visual hierarchy for complex interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve a Figma library, foundations, and design playbook.
• Define token architecture and component documentation with engineers.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers on props/state and migration code.”
• Advocate for design system adoption across teams and leadership.
