Job summary

CTS Group in Seinäjoki, Finland, seeks a Planning Manager to lead the Planning and Scheduling team, delivering proactive project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting for construction initiatives.

You will oversee baseline schedule development, resource allocation, and risk considerations, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in construction project planning and scheduling, including managerial responsibilities.
• Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and critical path analysis.
• Certification such as PMP or PSP is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Planning and Scheduling team, including senior planners, schedulers, and coordinators.
• Allocate resources effectively across projects to deliver high-quality schedules and reports.
• Oversee development, review, and approval of baseline schedules for construction projects.
• Ensure schedules are robust, realistic, and consider risks.
• Lead implementation of advanced scheduling techniques, including critical path analysis and what-if scenario planning.
• Oversee detailed project status reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to align schedules with objectives.
• Develop and maintain best practices, standards, and templates for planning processes.
• Ensure adherence to policies and industry regulations.
