Job summary

Echo Engineering Oy in Finland invites an experienced mechanical engineer to take a two-pronged role: Project Manager ensuring the service delivers as defined, and Chief Designer coordinating design activity between Finland and India for wood processing machinery or SPM. The position supports ramp-up with partial remote work and offers a path into a global MSP service within Kaiku HR network.

Requirements include a M.Sc./B.Sc.

Qualifications

• M.Sc./B.Sc. in mechanical engineering required.
• 5+ years of 3D CAD design experience, PLM context with PTC preferred.
• Proven leadership of design-to-order teams.
• Strong English communication; Finnish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Project Manager ensuring the service delivers as defined and with customer-aligned deliverables.
• Coordinate design activities between Finland and India with the Chief Designer and project managers.
• Oversee the design-to-order process and hands-on involvement as Chief Designer.
• Ensure design information kickoff data is gathered and properly shared with the team.
• Enable ramp-up with partial remote work and support global MSP service growth.
