Job summary
AFRY is a European leader in engineering, design, and advisory services, and we are seeking a Design Engineer / Lead Engineer to join our Advanced Automation team in Finland. You will develop and deliver innovative automation solutions for energy and process industries, applying Balance+ control philosophy in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.
Preferred candidates hold a Master or Bachelor of Science in technology, with DCS experience and a solid background in energy/industrial processes.
Qualifications
- Master or Bachelor of Science technology degree.
- Experience with DCS programming, configuration, commissioning, or troubleshooting.
- Application engineering experience from a major DCS system is a benefit.
- Some experience in energy/ process industry with strong automation understanding.
- Fluency in Finnish and English.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver innovative automation solutions for energy, industry and digitalization.
- Contribute to AFRY Balance+ control philosophy and project delivery.
- Collaborate with a mix of senior and junior engineers in a hybrid work setting.
- Support global projects with a strong focus on automation and control systems.
