Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a data science or analytics position.
• 2+ years of experience in team leadership.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, experimentation, and regression analysis using statistical software packages in Python, Matlab, R, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in writing structured and efficient SQL queries for large data sets.
• Relentless pursuit of new ideas and data sources, and ability to tackle ambiguous problems with a data-driven, hypothesis-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of data scientists
• Set the strategic direction for analytical work within the Courier and Logistics domain
• Establish a solid data and experimentation culture with your Product and operational stakeholders
• Coach your team and participate hands‑on in developing new metrics and conducting analytical deep dives to drive the strategy for the business
• Uncover foundational causal relationships in our data that can help us understand our business
• Drive strategic decision-making within the whole Courier Group
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design, and Operations to guide measurement strategies and tactical decisions, expanding the Wolt platform globally
