Job summary

Wolt in Helsinki is seeking an Analytics Manager to lead the Courier and Logistics Analytics team, balancing hands-on analytics with people management. You will shape metrics, guide experimentation, and partner with Product, Engineering, Design and Operations to drive growth and scale the platform globally.

The role requires 6+ years in data science/analytics and 2+ years in team leadership, with strong SQL and statistical analysis skills, and experience with Python, R or Matlab.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in a data science or analytics position.
• 2+ years of experience in team leadership.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, experimentation, and regression analysis.
• Proficiency in writing structured and efficient SQL queries for large data sets.
• Relentless pursuit of new ideas and data sources with a data-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of data scientists.
• Set the strategic direction for analytical work within the Courier and Logistics domain.
• Establish a solid data and experimentation culture with Product and operational stakeholders.
• Coach your team and participate hands-on in developing new metrics and deep-dives to drive business strategy.
• Uncover foundational causal relationships to understand the business.
• Drive strategic decision-making within the Courier Group.
