Job summary

Fortum Oyj seeks a Land Use and Environmental Coordinator to join its environmental team in Finland. You will coordinate land-use and environmental obligations in hydropower projects, drafting statements, permits and agreements in collaboration with colleagues.

You will engage with municipalities, authorities, property owners and local communities, expanding your network and deepening expertise in ecology and water regulation as part of advancing sustainable hydropower production.

Qualifications

• Cooperate with diverse stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Educational background in land use, environment or energy, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft land-use statements, permits and agreements related to hydropower production in Finland.
• Coordinate obligations and permit obligations for properties in cooperation with colleagues.
• Engage with municipal representatives, authorities, property owners and local communities.
